how to create parallel lines with controlled x,y,z distance

Hi, I have a question that has bother me a few days. It maybe very simple but I am a starter for GH.

How to create parallel lines with controlled x,y,z distance? Please see attached image.

I want to create repeat parallel lines with x,y,z distance in between. But the distances are not simply repeat, they have certain randomness.

Appreciate help.

Thanks,

Ye

How do you want to control this spacing? Is it manually, or using a pseudo-random sequence, or perhaps through an expression, or an external file?

I want to use a grasshopper program to control the spacing, for example, my choices of spacing distances are 2',3',4', I want be able to control the spacing that is randomized in order to create a series of lines with different spacing.  Now I can only create lines with the same spacing, like 2' or 3'. (I am really a starter, I hope I explained things clearly)

Are you looking for something like this?
