How to connect generated surfaces?

Hi All,

I´m trying to do one surface with a serial of elements that are repeated and rotated on this surface. That I think i got it!

The question I have ist, how it's possible to joint the generated surfaces so that it looks like a Stair. In this case a just use a very easy surface as projection surface for the Elements.
