algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey,

I am new to grass hopper and want to color a surface with a gradient which is focused on a number of selected points. So how do i get to color the mesh in such a way that i have a pre selected color radiating from the centre of some selected points, i have attached the file i am working on.

You can use [Mesh Spray] to assign colour gradients to a mesh based on a few anchor points. It is also possible to set the individual colour of each mesh vertex, but that involves making a colour interpolater yourself.

Hey Thanks David, but i still cant figure it out, this makes the whole mesh change to the assigned color, when i add another color, it simply changes color rather than having both colors. Is there any way i can make the mesh colored but only for a ceratin distance around the point, say the distance could be something like till it fibds another edge or another color. I have attatched the file i am working on.

You have to use a single Spray component to assign multiple colours to one mesh. If you duplicate your entire file for every colour, then you'll get another mesh for every colour:
