How to associate a structural mesh with a column as a continuation of this same mesh

Hi guys

I'm starting the studies with the software rhinoceros and grasshopper. I would like to associate a column with a surface so that this column would be the continuity of the structural mesh.

Here is the mesh and the columns to be associated. Could any of you give me any tips?
