algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi guys,
im really really really a newbie on Rhino an on GH, so i do not have many experience in both programms because i started to learn them 1 week ago.
So the thing I tried to create for my architecture studies this semester is a ramp, which is blendet into stairs. I tried it very hard manually and I even succeeded a little bit, but its all a mess and it took me so long to get this result, but even then I have no controll on how to change something without to redraw everything new. I have attached the file im working on in Rhino.
The thing is I need an incline of the ramp from 6% -10% max. to guarantee an disability access. I just want to know a way where i can adjust the incline of the ramp and the ramp is still blendet in the stairs while adjusting it. If that isnt possible i hope you can help me to figure out a way to just adjust the incline of the ramp when the top and/or the bottom ends are fixed.
I hope anyone knows what i mean an can help me.
Thanks a lot,

It's always difficult to ensure that some shape adheres to a set of rules, that almost always requires some sort of iterative process which,
Grasshopper is not suited for such a process, though some plugins (most notably Kangaroo) are.
It would be fairly trivial to build a real-time analysis mode for your shape that will at least highlight where the slope is too steep or too shallow. The attached file will show too shallow parts in white, too steep parts in black, and a yellow->green->blue gradient between 6 and 10 degrees slope.
Welcome to
Grasshopper
