algorithmic modeling for Rhino

How determine by which version of Grasshopper a .gh file was made?

I trying to open a particular .gh file, but when I open it, I get this message:

It seems I am using an old or new version of Grasshopper.

How can I identify by which version of Grasshopper was this .gh file made?

Thank you.

Well thanks on that :) (the English part)

I believe you it works on 0.8.0050, but there is a particular VB component inside it, which for some reason does not seem to work right on the newer version of 0.8.0050.

At least on of the newer ones I tried on (I do not remember which one was it).

By pure logic, every file created with version 0.8.0050 should work perfectly by opening the file with the newer versions from 0.8.0050?

You have to remember that there was a big break in the SDK at version 0.8.0050 and other versions came along pretty quick with fixes.

There was another break in version 0.8.0060

"By break" you mean an error-bug, or dramatic change of code in comparison to earlier versions?

dramatic change of code

Thank you for all the replies and patience Danny.

Sorry for disturbance.
