How can I make Exoskeletal structures wiith grasshopper???

Hello..... could anyone please tell me how such exoskeletal structures can be made with grasshopper?

I'm working on a project which requires a similar structure and could really use some help...... Any guidance or similar definitions are welcome.......Thanks
