Hoopsnake entry level problem

Hello people,

I have this 3dm file next to grasshopper script. I want to make a curved array of rectangles as depicted in the image and i miss the hoopesnake part since i am just starting to use it. I would need some help to resolve this issue.

I understand that this array might not be that usefull as it stands but i only really need to solve the hoopsnake part.

I never got Hoopsnake to work at all but did have better luck with Anemone:

Played around with Anemone a little bit and got something similar to what you were showing in the image.
