Honeycomb Furnicular Structure

Hi,

I'm supposed to use rhino to create a model that will be printed in a 3D printer, but I'm new to the software. Right now i'm trying to choose the shape using rhinovault, then I want to add the honeycomb surface to that (is that doable?). I was advised to use grasshopper to create the honeycomb surface because it's a hierarchical honeycomb (pattern pictured below), but I'm struggling...can can anyone advise me on where to start? I'd really appreciate any help!
