Hinge Force/Kangaroo

Hello.

I'm trying to achieve a bending movement of light timber in grass hopper using the Hinge Force.

But there doesn't seem to be many tutorials on kangaroo let alone the "Hinge Force."

Does anyone know of any tutorials/tips for using  Hinge in kangaroo/mimicking a bending movement without the surface deforming?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
