how do you like this one?

hi,

your solution is very good for the planar curves.
but i need it for non-planar curves.
Sorry it was my fault.
maybe you know also there for a solution?

thanks

dera dedackelzucht,

the idea was to create the midPts of the hexagon
with the help of the now established lines.
then, the centers should be connected
with the respective hexagons corners.
this is unfortunately not possible for me
because i do not know how i get the problem solved
to connect the points with different hierarchies to each other.

i send to you an example that shows you
how i would like to create it.

would be very grateful for further help.

many thanks

Hi Rassul,

I saw good use of the component Extrude Point by David recently, and I think it fits in quite well with your hexgrid. Move the MD Slider from side to side to increase/decrease the aperture size.

thanks to you both! its cool.

this is "realy" the first seemles hexgrid in forum.

you have rocked it.

thanks a lot.

In case you want it I have had a play with an attractor point controling aperture size.

hi danny,
something does not work anymore in this def.
probably the vbscript?
what do you think?

thanks!

With out plunging myself into deeply, I would say the problem lies within the Shifting of points for the ODD rows of hexagons. (The Lower portion of the Definition)
