HEXAGONAL-TRIANGULAR Mesh and FABRIC simulation

Hello All!

I hope you can help me with this Grasshopper Script.

Generally, what I am trying to do is to use Kangoroo to have this mesh behave almost as a set of rigid surfaces glued on fabric.

The Kangooroo part works and I was able to get the whole script to work for an entirely triangular mesh. But now I am having problems with this MIXED hexagonal-triangular mesh.

The problem is that, I want the Kangoroo to run when I move any one of the original points. If you try to move say one of the points in the Rhino file I have posted (make sure you select the point with both layers "POINTS end" and "POINTS start" unlocked).

As you can see, now when I move a point in grasshopper, the mesh cannot recompute because some of the offset lines do NOT offset along the right plane.

The reason why I am offsetting the initial set of lines in the first place is because I am trying to simulate as if there was a space between rigid panels, and this space behaved like fabric (in this case like Kangoroo springs).
