algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello Guys,
I am a first time poster, long time lurker. I was hoping someone might help me in generating a similar effect as to the image below. I would describe the effect as a uniform hexagonal Grid mapped onto a surface with a circular hole at the centre of each hexagon with a radius of varying size that can be controlled (either with an attractor or something else). The hexagons have a distinct sharp edge or have high edge weight while the surface between the hexgon and the hole is smooth.
My question is how can I generate a definition similar to this and have a close poly surface or valid mesh output?
