Hexagonal Cell(lb) on closed surface

Hi all, i'm trying to create an hexagonal mesh with the lunch box component on a closed surface, but the seam line of the surface generate two separated hexagon cell on each side (example on the image). Is there a way to create a smooth hexagon grid?
