Help with array/orient along a curve...

I have been trying to array a curve component along another curve. I have divided the target curve and then when attempting to orient the reference curve component to the target curve something weird is happening. The target points that require a transformation other than a move and 180deg rotation end up all over the place. I am new to grasshopper... Any thoughts/help?
