algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi I am trying to split a surface with a large number of smaller surfaces.

I now want to split the larger surface to create perforations however I am finding that the splitting process is taking a very long time and I was wondering if there was a faster way of doing this?

Thanks

Hey,

is the Srf flat or how does it look like. For Example: if you can create one piece of the cutted, perforated element you can copy it along the shape of the Srf. Tjos works for Srfs like tubes, flat srf and so on. BUt it depends on your Srf. There are some other solutions as well, but I do not have any Rhino here. I can have a look at it on Monday, if you want to!

Yes the surface is flat, but how would i go about copying the cut part across the surface?

Me and Ben have added some files, maybe they help! If not! write again!
