Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all.

Anxious deadline looming for a China project!

I could do with some pointers on a definition I am working on. I have started using Grasshopper again after some time off and struggling to combine a series of ideas.

We have a 1 storey canopy that links a commercial street to the base of a 14 storey tower.

I want the curving canopy roof to blend into the floor plate at 3rd Floor (like my earlier CGI below)and then the window panels to change at each floor to react to the canopy's fluidity.

Similar to an attractor curve reaction making windows larger going up the tower.

I have tried to use the Lunch Box plugin and created a random hex grid  for the panel modules but want them to become smaller towards the front an larger at the back.

Any ideas?

I saw this post but couldn't replicate it - http://www.grasshopper3d.com/photo/parametric-facade-design

There are balconies at the south side of the tower that will be completely open, so the façade transparency would ideally become lighter closer to the front.

My Rhino file and GH file is attached if anyone can help me out! It would be much appreciated.
