Help me with a folded plate structure

Hi!

I'm trying to make folded pillars for my folded roof but just got halfway there. I'm a total grasshopper beginner but got some help from my tutor at first, then got stuck.

The problem is that both triangels end up over each other, in stead of next to each other. I've tried a bunch of things but nothing helps.

Any ideas?

I've attached the grasshopper script, a print screen and a version I did by hand with the result I want.
