algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hi all,

i'm writing cause i need to do this... i'd like to have a panneling on entire black surface but in rhino the surface it's considered like one piece, instead when i need to select the surface and apply the panneling every single segment is considered like one surface.

I've tryed to use list item and series to obtain the results on every strip
but doesn't work...

or probably i wrong in some step.

for explain better the surface is builded with 2 curve subdivided in segments and after joined in a surface with a loft.

thanks.

Hi Claudio,

One solution is to divide the original curves in GH and use this point list (flatten input) to rebuild the curves and lofting them in GH.

Other solution is to try the "cross reference" on the boxmorph component and the trhird is to use the "creasesplitting" command in rhino 5 or the same name plugin in rhino 4 before creating your surface in rhino.

I hope this helps

Cheers

Evert
in particular my problem is on sbox beacause if i select every strip surface as a surface to precess in the first node (SRF) the (SBOX) became red.

i don't understand what's the problem i've debbug with yellow tag in other solution and thearically the stamp of the yellow panel it's good but the box is always red.

i've divided yet original curve in point like u have describe and after i made my srf startin from the curves rebuilded by this point.

the other solution ...mmm i don't have rhino 5, and cross reference on morph it's a develop that cames after my problem.
:)
I don't know if I understood totally your problem, but it seems that you need to populate all your strips with a geometry. I resolved with this simple solution.

Hope it will be useful.

Bye.
