Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This is a dangerous process, yet here I go.  To begin, I must first state that I love Grasshopper and I use it almost daily.  My feed back concerns the "help" function.  With so many of the components, when I read the help page for that component it only makes sense if I already know the answer.  This is a programmers dilemma.  A story might make my point better.

A helicopter is flying around Seattle and gets lost in a sudden fog bank.  The people in the helicopter make a sign that reads " Where am I ?".  The then the pilot flies close to a building and they hold the sign up for the people inside the building to read.  The people in the building make and hold up a sign that reads "You are in a helicopter."

With that information the helicopter pilot safely flies them back to the airport, where they land.  One of the passengers asks the pilot how he knew where they were.  The pilot says he knew they were at the Microsoft building because the answer was technically correct but useless.  (ok so maybe they were in Redmond).

I feel that way about the help menu in Grasshopper, technically correct but useless.  Maybe a short paragraph about how the component works.  For example "integer division" rounds the number.  Stating that clearly helps immensely.  With out being overt about that errors can easily occur.  I thought "Integer division" simply ignored the value to the right of the decimal point.   I can pick almost any component and the help menu is not much more then an example of how to use the word in a sentence.

How can I help or contribute to a solution?
