Half of a ellipse domain

Hi there,

I'm new to grasshopper and I'm at the very beginning.

I'm starting with some basic exercise of a math course at my university, and even if they are simple I can't finish many of them.

The exercise: create pillars and above them a semiellipse.

The pillars are in the right position, and I managed to create the ellipse above them

Now I need to "cut in half" the ellipse. i would've used the domain, but I can't figure it out.

I apologize if there was already a thread about it.

I made some different try with the domain buttons under the math panel, but it never worked!
