algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Would it be possible/useful to have a component that takes points and then moves them with the gumballs feature in relation to the original points (basically a manual move), outputting new points and maybe also translation data?

Hi Frans,

sorry, I'm confused. How does this differ from selecting a point parameter with internal coordinates and dragging the gumballs?

Hi David

Thing is I would like for this manual editing to be a part of a functioning component chain, that is without having to internalise coordinates and thus breaking the parametrics. But I guess this is just technically hard to do...

The gumball handles would be used to record a move transformation from where the input points are. Do I make sense?

Did I loose you there david?

thanks Manuel!

but what Im after is the addition of a manual tweak to a otherwise intact parametric system.

this component would be good for manual culling of data, but gumballs might be a way to achieve manual moves of data.
