Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey Guys,

I am pretty new to Grasshopper and have hard times to solve a specific problem, maybe one of you could show me a possible solution.

So, what I am trying to do is;

- create a grid where every point has a proper distance

- distance in x direction is 4 and in y direction is 1 in maximum slope, lower rates are no problem

- further more I would like to adopt this system in z direction

- this slope definition should be transferable to any manually drawn curve

My goal is to array some boxes oriented on or to a curve, where every box has a maximum displacement of 1 in y direction in reliance to it`s neighbors. To clarify my thoughts, I attached some screenshots.

Screenshot_1 is for x and y direction.

Screenshot_2 is the basic curve developed in z direction

I wrote a definition with graph mappers which allows me to create something that comes near to my vision, but is not really controllable with predefined values for each point. Would be very great if you could throw your thoughts on me :)
