Gramazio&Kohler definition

I have a project that follows inspiration from Gramazio and Kohler's West Fest Pavilion (http://www.thefoxisblack.com/2010/10/26/west-fest-pavilion-by-grama...) and I've attached the basic definition used to build it. However, I'm stuck on how I can manipulate it by either changing the basic geometry of its form or like in the original project, to rotate it as a whole/rotate individual elements while still being in contact with each other. Any help?
