Gradient Issues

Hi,

I'm trying to array a diamond shingle across a surface and then color it dark to light from bottom to top respectively using three colors.

My issue is that the gradient seems to get to a certain point and then reverse in direction. See image 01 attached.

Any help to make it similar to image 02 would be appreciated (created with lunchbox diamond panel).

Tried doing the diamonds from paneling tools. 

Get this instead.

Figured it out. Had to also sort the surfaces through the same sort key.
