Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I wanted to color these curves in a gradient according to their distance from green selected items... currently every single curve takes up the same color... How would i input the distance factor to the gradient color component ?

Shorter version of the definition and rhino file are attached..

Maybe divide the curve in a lot smaller segments and then use the gradient bar and the center point of each segment to do the distance check. This must work but i'm not sure how the result will look. Maybe you need a high division resolution that will cause also more loading time but I think it could work.

Thanks Matthijs...it worked

Is there a way to bake these line with colors?

Hi,bro

i want to know what the command name of the thing linked between prox and distance?

sorry i am new in grasshopper, so many stupid question~~~

But i really need that one.

 Thanx!

point on curve..

you can use evaluate curve as an alternative, but you might need to reparametrize..

Hey Khizer,

Giuliopiacentino made a tool for that: bakeAttributes

http://www.giuliopiacentino.com/grasshopper-tools/

You can have inputs like color material and layer name. I use it a lot.
