Gradating point collection

As the title says, I'm trying to create a gradating point collection - to clarify what I mean by that; I'd like to create a Delaunay "pattern" which starts out with very widely spaced points and gradually becomes more dense.

I've created a definition which creates a series of rectangles which define the boundaries for point collections - however, I don't know how to efficiently add point collection to each of the boundaries - so I've taken the manual route (for example) and copied the component and added different values as opposed to (somehow) using a series component.

I hope this makes sense, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
