Ghost intersections from Curve / Line intersection component

Hi,

I'm trying to find the intersections of a set of lines and a polyline curve.

The component finds the intersection points, but also finds another four non-intersecting points - any idea what the problem is here?

Hello Christopher,

these are correctly displayed since you are using curve line intersection component, which is a mathematical intersection. Meaning that the lines are extended to infinite in order to find all possible mathematical intersections.

in order to have only physical intersection points you will have to use CCX curve curve intersection found in tab intersection/physical.
