algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I keep running into visual clarity problems where GH geometry in back won't be obscured by surfs/breps/solids in front.  I've found a couple posts that relate to this issue:

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/line-occlusion-in-viewports

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/rhino-viewport-display-pr...

I haven't personally had the clipping plane problem, but I consistently have "x-rayed" GH lines not being obsured by geometry in front of it, whether GH or rhino -- or it flips back and forth between obscured or not as I orbit or change angle.  all I've seen offered is workarounds, like meshing before a custom preview, which often doesn't work for me.  of course the geometry can be baked, but this breaks the fluidity that would otherwise be possible designing in GH... it just seems like a fundamental issue for a design medium, when the process is hindered by a garbled display.

I'm wondering if this is something that is being worked on?  I don't want to sound un-appreciative of everything that is so amazingly right about rhino/GH -- but I keep running into this both in my own process and in demos to get buy in from others...

Hi Derek,

this is a known problem, but fixing it would cause another known problem. At the moment there's nothing you can do, sorry.
