GH_ComponentAttributes.RespondToKeyDown

Is this implemented? I don't observe any registration of keydown events using the method below:

public override GH_ObjectResponse RespondToKeyDown(GH_Canvas sender, KeyEventArgs e)
{

    // stuff happens?
}
