Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am looking for some help with Galapagos. I have attached an example rhino file and grasshopper file here for reference.

I have an object and I am trying to rotate it to find the condition for which it has the most interior "flatness". The grasshopper script colors the mesh for the "flat" areas which I define to be less than 14.04 degrees.

The problem is that I cannot find out how to get Galapagos to solve for the rotation of the object which gives the highest number of points to fit that condition. When I plug Galapagos' "fitness" into my culled list of points, it gives me some average number... But want I want is the longest list length. I tried attaching the list length component and plugging that in but Galapagos won't accept it.

EDIT: Ha, nevermind. After two hours I figured out I could just plug the List Length component into a Number component and Galapagos will accept that.

I'll just leave this here in case anyone has the same problem.
