Galapagos: Simulated Annealing to seed Genetic Algorithm

David,

I am interested in experimenting with using several solutions from Galapagos' Simulated Annealing (SA) solver as members of the initial population in a Evolutionary Solver (GA) optimization. For instance, I'd like to run 10 rounds of the SA to generate 10 solutions that would be 10 of the initial 50 members (the other 40 would be randomly generated by Galapagos) for a GA.

I would like to try to use "Start From Selected Genome" but it is grayed out in my Galapagos. How do I access this function? Can I feed it multiple Genomes or just one? If it is only one, I am wondering if you have any tips on how to add more. I have been saving all of the genomes to excel using Nathan Miller's Slingshot!, so I can easily recall the inputs for the fittest solutions. The part I need help with is feeding those solutions to Galapagos as members of the initial GA population.

Thanks,

Ben
