Galapagos requests all numer slider values to be set to minimum?

I am currently having a problem with the irradiation analysis from Ecotect through Geco, by using the Galapagos solver, in this topic.

I was wondering if the reason maybe lies in the fact that in order for Galapagos to work properly I need to set all my number slider values to the most minimum ones. And then the Galapagos will gradually increase all of them.

Or maybe this is not important and Galapagos randomly takes the numbers from the number slider, no matter what?

Thank you for the reply.

Hi Djordje,

Galapagos will pick random values at first. Unless you use the 'Start from slider setup' option, in which case it will pick random slider values near the current value.

Thank you for the reply David.

By that "near the current value" you mean, +- 1,2,3 around the current value?

At the moment it's plus or minus 5% of the range of each slider. But I may well change that in the future.
