I have been trying to flip a surface to reverse its normals. The vectors do not seem to change when I use the grasshopper component or with Rhinoscript. What am I missing?
i checked your file. so the flip component has no prob it is working perfectly.... you can look at the normal vector @ the divide component and you will see that inside the divide component everything is ok so on tup z has +1 and below z -1, but when you feed the points into the eval component the normal vector changes... maybe that is a bug when the surface is recreated inside that component because david has to deal with a a lot of surface and normally he is converting them inside again and maybe their is the fault.
