algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everyone,

I am just starting out experimenting with firefly + arduino and I noticed that I get some kind of latency, or a "losing frames" effect when communicating constantly changing values from firefly to the PWM ports of arduino (for fading LEDs). In particular I am using the Frequency spectrum component to send an average value of the audio volume to the LEDs in real time, but this also happens if I use something simpler like a Fader. Beside the steppy fading I also seem to completely lose current for some miliseconds while the components are working.

The same problem does not occur when I try e.g the Fade sketch in the Arduino program itself, where i get a very smooth fading. Do you have any ideas? Is there a way to optimize the data transfer between the two programs?
