Finding the bouncing points of the rays from "Ladybug_bounce from surface"

Hi all,

I am trying to assess the glare produced by a building X on the neighboring buildings. I am using the "Ladybug_bounce from surface". I would like to show a colored grid in the neighboring facades showing the parts that are more affected by glare from building X. For that I need to get the points where the rays intersect these facades. I tried intersecion line/surface but it does not work cause the rays are Polyline curves.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Hi Alejandro,

You can use Grasshopper Discontinuity component to generate the points and then extrude the surfaces a little bit and run an inclusion test. Does it make sense?

Also I would send questions about Ladybug and Honeybee to the group (www.grasshopper3d.com/group/ladybug). If it wasn't because of your email I would probably never see this!
