algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey there,

i have some trouble finding a factor from 2 proportions/relations

I added a screenshot that explains my question

I have the relation:

L long : move long = L short : move short...(i need to find move short!)

in other words i can say:

L long : Lshort = Move long : move short

I do have the exact numbers of:

L long
L short
Move Long

==> move short?????

how would i set up my definition to get the exact number of "move short"

i guess it's done with some kind of domains and remap numbers?

thanks

If A/B = C/D then you can rewrite them as follows:

A = BC/D

B = C/DA

C = DA/B

D = A/BC

Is that what you were after? I found it hard to work out what was going on in your jpeg. The colours and (rather severe) compression factor introduced a lot of noise in the image.
