fabrication from mesh... need to convert to brep?

Hello,

I am trying to fabricate some of these out comes.

However, the original mesh maybe to complicated? or too much to analyse? because for unrolling need to be polysurface?

Then utilise smaller geometry for fabricating details. for this one I will need to find the two point that is connecting one component to another and draw circle and trim it?

So far, i used kangaroo's naked edge, but I have trouble removing the unwanted point. I tried use cull pattern, but it removes point that is need...need help on this.
