Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everybody!

I am currently working on a tensile structure project, and I am manipulating meshes with Grasshopper, Kangaroo and WB.

I customized definitions I found on this forum, to inflate a cushion and display the most stressed "seams" in red :

Here, the cushion is a very stiff cable net.

Now, I would like to relax a surface. In order to do this, I want to model the membrane surface as a net of node points connected by triangles. Each triangle would pull on its three corner nodes with a constant force, which in turn would move the nodes. This is a little different from my current "springs" model.

What would be the best Kangaroo/GH/WB tools to do this?

Any help, idea or comment would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

VF
