Fabric Forms

Hi,

I've proposed this form for my mid-semester presentation and now my tutors are expecting me to produce this, but I have no idea how to start! I'm not quite experienced in Grasshopper when it comes to things such as this,

but essentially I wanted to create a form that would mimic the folds and bends of thick fabric when pinched and bent

I've found this video which essentially is what I want to create, Could someone guide me in the right direction? Breaking down the steps or what components would be used in Kangaroo (I'm assuming)
