extrusion, list management, projected curves, vector

hi,

I am trying to extrude some curves I have created by projecting a radial grid onto a surface, in a direction perpedicular to their on plane.

It all seems to be fine, I create the extrusion vector between the point, project the grid, rebuilt the profiles, but then it just won;t extrude.

I have tried extrude along path as well as with vector, but neither one works

I suppose I could also copy the profile with the vector and then loft between each pair, doesn't see elegant though ...

any ideas?
