algorithmic modeling for Rhino
extrude plane
Hello all, I have a pretty simple question,
I have a double curved surface that is populated with flat panels, I am trying to extrude the panels in relation to the surface normal or in this case the individual "planes" that each panel has. When I use the extrude surface function it works but it defaults to a distance of 1. Does anyone know how I can control this extrude distance???

go to Vector>Vector>Amplitude then just connect the normals to the "Amp" component and feed it with the unit of extrusion wanted. Basically all you do is give a length to your normals :)
