algorithmic modeling for Rhino
this is a preliminary version of a larger project. What i would like to do is to use the bbox to determine the extents of an object, extract just an edge of the box and then divide that with the PFrames into equal sections. What is not happening is the 'explode' part where the index selects and just shows one edge. i still have the whole box. Explode 'e' shows output of 12 'line like curves' as well as the Item 'L' input. i have tried the slider with integers 0-11 and 1-12. nothing changes the bbox on the screen, as shown.
Any idea what i am doing wrong? thanks

Hi Paul,
It is very difficult to determine your problem without the .gh and .3dm files attached.
If you are getting the output planes out of the PFrames component the way I get:
then it could be that your plane preview radius is too small, and you need to increase it (Display->Preview Plane radius).
I can't say more without your definition attached.
the preview radius makes the planes visible, thanks. I thought the bbox would go away and only show the selected part but i can work with this and move on to the next step. i will see how this works. many thanks for the quick help.
i have had time to come back to my project...
what i would like to do is create 'ribs' inside the shell. i have created the frame lines and offset them. i would like to create an 'edgesurf' from the two curves. when i do that only one frame curve is paired with all the other offset curves. i had expected that they would do edgesurf in matched pairs. another unexpected outcome is the the curve output from 'sec' is 8 curves, the curve output from 'offset' is 72 curves. clearly there is a lot i don't understand.
i do appreciate help though, tia
