EXPLODE_BREPS: Updated Grasshopper Resource and Tutorial Website from the UVA School of Architecture

Today, Dripps+Phinney Studio releases a renovation and expansion of the site EXPLODE BREPS from the University of Virginia School of Architecture. EXPLODE BREPS offers a dynamic catalog of over 200 annotated Grasshopper definitions for the beginning to advanced Grasshopper user. The site organization reflects changes in workflow over the years as a result of Grasshopper becoming mainstream in many advanced offices.

The site renovation adds 35 new definitions to the EXPLODE BREPS catalog, including explorations with meshes in Kangaroo, and recursive operations in Anemone. It reorganizes the content to showcase the potentials of parametric design through the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Fabrication, and Structure.

In making this announcement we wish to acknowledge the incredible support that this community has provided over the years without which this our work would not be possible. We have tried to acknowledge all definitions that others initiated, but if we have missed something please let us know.
