expanding the frequency down a line

hi everyone!

first take a look at this:          A                                                              B

this is abit of a difficult one basically what we are trying to do here is make the circles on (A) more dense but keep its density if we make the vertical line longer if we do make them longer even with the circle density at maximum when we go past a certian point of length with the verticle lines the circle do not proceed past the point (B). any help you could give would be highly appricated as im about to kill myself because on another file where we have just one of these vertical elements on its own, it works perfectly (fig C)
