Evaluate Curve uses the underlying curve parameterization. It's the most direct way to evaluate curves as it works directly on the mathematical equations that control curves. Evaluate Length uses euclidean lengths instead of curve parameters. This is slower as the component first has to figure out which curve parameter corresponds with a specific length.
