Evaluate if a surface is located between two surafces

Greetings..

I want to ask if I need to evaluate if a door (drawn as rectangle) is located between two spaces (two surfaces), then I want to draw a line between the centers of these spaces.

Ex. In the attached drawing, I want to draw automatically (when I select spaces) a line between rooms 1 and 6 and rooms 0 and 1, while between 0 and 7, I donot want a line between the centers as there is no door.

Can anyone help me with this issue
