Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am doing some job in Grasshopper c# component with rhino 5.0 build May 31st and Grasshopper 0.8.0010. Everything was fine when the code is shorter than 1000 lines several days ago, but some error showed up in the out parameter of the component these days that indicate "error: index (line: 0)" or "error: index out of range or index must be non-negative...(line: 0)". If there were some syntax errors, the out parameter will indicate the line numbers correctly. If it's a runtime error, line number will always be the "line: 0" no matter how hard I tried to debug the code.

What's wrong and how to do with this?

Thanks,

-Jerome

Hi Jerome,

can you post (or mail) the file that is causing this? Grasshopper should be compiling pdb files along with the dlls and that should provide better exception information. I don't know why it isn't doing it in your case.

Also, are you doing this in Rhino4 or Rhino5?
