Erro when updating Gh in McNeel website

hello all,

I have been trying to update gh, when i open it up in rhino, it directs me towards the website when i click on the icon to update it. once i try to dl the newer version, is says the publisher of grasshopper_wip20110705b.exe couldnt be verified.

any one would know why this is happening?

Hi Juan,

it's just the way it is. Windows (correctly) thinks that running stuff you downloaded from the web might be dangerous. If you feel that the software is to be trusted, overrule the default paranoia and click Run.

The only way for us to stop this is to actually purchase a verification license (or whatever it's called) from Microsoft, which is pretty darn expensive.
