Drawing Polygons and Polyhedra, Fractals

Hello All!

Im loving grasshopper at the moment and trying to get to grips with it. Im trying to draw the shape on the left in the image. Any thoughts on how I could do this, perhaps using an iterative sequence or a fractal. (the image is from Max Bruckner's book)

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
